BRUNSWICK, Maine - The
Bowdoin College men's and women's ice hockey teams will
host the annual "Skate With the Polar Bears" food drive
this Sunday, December 7 from 1-3 p.m. at Dayton Arena.
Admission to the open skating session is one
non-perishable food item or paper product to be donated
to the local food bank.

The
Junior Eagles started off winning the toss but that is
as far as the winning went as Saco completed passes to
defeat Windham 20-0. Windham was forced to punt on its
first possession. Saco wasted no time and went to the
air and scored. The Eagle defense got together and
stopped the two point conversion attempt.

Saco-Windham made significant adjustments to defeat the
Junior Trojans 27-12 in SMYFL action today.
Additionally, Windham sealed home field playoff
advantage in the playoffs with its win today. Both
teams had done plenty of scouting of each other so
nothing was a secret on the field. However, Windham’s
powerful lines coupled with its ability to put together
well blocking running attacks put the game in their
favor.

Alexandra Hart swept gold
in all three events she competed in at the Summer Youth
Track State Meet held August 9, 2008 in Augusta. Hart
won gold medals in the Mite Girls 100M, 200M and Mite
Mixed 4x100M Relay.
Andre Hart got silver in
the Mite Boys Javelin throw and Thomas Palmer earned a
bronze medal in the same event.

Gorham High
